Friends and Church, 5 years later

Special times with friends. Today I finally had a chance to hang out with Johanna. She is wonderful, and we had a fun time making seco de pollo and chatting for hours. I'm so thankful for 5 years of friendship with this girl!

Prayer meeting had a good turnout tonight. Carlos is going through some of the prayers in 2 Chronicles on Tuesday nights, and tonight he talked about Jehoshaphat and the tribe of Judah praying and worshiping the Lord before battle.  They gave thanks to Him before He gave them the answer to their prayer: victory. "Give thanks to the Lord for his steadfast love endures forever," 2 Chronicles 20:21.
