Paterson's Preparation

I was a teacher in Paterson. I know how to handle loud kids. Any of my kids out there reading this blog, I love you! But you can definately be LOUD! So, we learn some handy teacher techniques to quiet an insane, bouncing off the wall, I'm-going-to-scream-just-cause-it's-fun group of kids. Today I got to use those here in Paraguay! yay!! It was our last school of the day. The kids were tired and wired. Excitment=Loud for those of you not too familiar with kids. And today we had the luxury of being under a roof... which means the sound was amplified! At one point, the kids were just NOT listening to my conversation with the Pedro the Puppet, so I put down the mic and tried to do that special clap we did in Paterson to get the kids attention. The kids had no idea what I was doing, and in their confusion, stopped talking! Mission accomplished.

You MUST teach me this special clap for when I become a teacher! Last day of school? Does that mean you are coming back soon or no? What exactly is your schedule? Can you email me? Juliet.mckinley@gmail.com

I know you're super busy so no rush, but I'd love to chat with you via email at some point!
